Edición Valetudo |
Tres here reporting all the way live from cold ass Madrid city in the south of Europe. My mate and street artist El Tono got asked to curate a series of podcasts for the Mexican collective Nrmal. He got Rafa Suñen, Nano4814, himself and me to throw some crazy mixes for them –all of which I trully recommend you download–, and the result is the Madrid Mandril Mega-Mezclas series.
I decided I´d do a crazy selection and try doing a different thing from my regular mixes –some kind of cut and paste mega-mix; and the result is ‘Edición Valetudo’, as weird as the martial art under the same name. I selected tunes I´ve been feeling from a wide range of genres including hippie rhythm&blues, fast rap, old Chicago house, classic disco and even some crazy Glue Kids chunes I did specially for the mix. The mixing is kinda sloppy at some parts, but that´s how it was meant to be. You can check the result by clicking on the link below. Hope ya´ll dig!
